• Account information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Fighter & coach profiles: Name, gym affiliation, weight class, bout records, and other competition-related data you submit.
• Event data: Event registrations, bout results, scores, and related information submitted by promoters, coaches, and officials.
• Gym profiles: Gym name, address, contact information, coach rosters, and photos uploaded by gym managers.
• Payment information: When you make a donation or payment, your payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics data (page views, feature usage) through Vercel Analytics to improve the platform.

• To operate and maintain the TechBouts platform.
• To manage fighter rankings, bout records, and event registrations.
• To enable gym owners and coaches to manage their profiles and rosters.

• Public profiles: Fighter records, gym profiles, and event results are publicly visible as part of the platform's purpose.
• Service providers: We use third-party services including Firebase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). These providers have their own privacy policies.
• Sanctioning bodies & promoters: Event and fighter data may be shared with sanctioning organizations and event promoters as necessary for event operations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and organization.

5. Cookies & Tracking

TechBouts uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication (keeping you logged in), analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), and payment processing (Stripe). These are essential for the platform to function. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Firebase, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

TechBouts may contain records of minors who participate in sanctioned youth combat sports events. Parental or guardian consent is obtained through the event registration process managed by promoters and sanctioning bodies.
